Elson Solutions participated in the regional conference “The Power of Participation: Reducing Administrative Burdens Through Citizen and Business Engagement in the Western Balkans”, organized by Democracy Plus.
Our CEO, Olimpija Hristova Zaevska, PhD, contributed to Panel IV, which focused on business perspectives. The discussion highlighted the critical role of simplified procedures and digital services in enabling entrepreneurship and driving economic development. Panelists emphasized that reduced bureaucracy directly contributes to a more competitive and innovation-friendly environment.
We underlined a key point: today’s citizens expect services in three clicks—from booking travel to banking or buying shares. Businesses are run by these same people, which means public services should be just as fast and user-friendly.
The conference reinforced the importance of citizen- and business-centered reforms in shaping a more efficient, transparent, and innovation-friendly public administration in the region.
